FIDE ELO Calculation Formula
New Rating = Old Rating + K × (Actual Score - Expected Score)

Expected Score: E = 1 / (1 + 10(Opponent Rating - Player Rating) / 400)

K-Factor Rules:

  • K=40: New players (first 30 games) and under 18 (rating <2300)
  • K=20: Players with rating below 2400
  • K=10: Players who have ever reached 2400 (permanent)

1600 - 1999K = 20
2000 - 2399K = 15

UKD Calculation Formula
New UKD = Old UKD + K × (Actual Score - Expected Score)

The UKD system uses the same ELO formula. The only difference is the K-factor rules. In UKD, the K-factor is automatically determined based on your current rating range.
