Decoy is a tactical move used to lure an opponent's piece to an undesirable square (for example, a square suitable for a fork or checkmate).

Difference from Deflection

In deflection, a piece is drawn away from its duty. In a decoy, however, the piece is lured to a specific square (that square is required for the tactic).
