Fifty-Move Rule

Fifty-Move Rule allows a draw to be claimed when, for each side's last fifty moves, no pawn move has been made and no piece has been captured.
Why Does It Exist?
- It prevents games with no progress from continuing indefinitely.
- It sets a limit in certain endgames that are technically difficult to win.
- It prevents players from wasting time with aimless repetition.
This rule becomes especially important in the endgame and can be missed if the count is not kept correctly.
