Space Advantage

Space Advantage refers to a player having a larger area to place their pieces. Controlling more squares, especially in the center and on the opponent's side of the board, creates this advantage.
What Does It Provide?
- Pieces can maneuver more easily.
- Opponent's pieces can become cramped.
- It becomes easier to create play by switching flanks.
The side with a space advantage should be careful not to squander this advantage with unnecessary piece exchanges.
